And more:
In 1995 I began to train in solution focused brief therapy at BRIEF and returned to take their follow-up and supervision and consultancy courses as well as attending, and sometimes offering workshops at, their international conferences.
I am a founder member and committee member for the UK Association for Solution Focused Practice (2003 — present).
All my work now is based on a solution focused approach, with additional input based on 20 years of work in the NHS, in primary care and private practice counselling, supervision and training, with the valuable experience of teaching staff across 28 Trusts in the Greater Manchester health economy.
